The Electronic Recycling Association and Wayne Cao Present the Sunrise Community Link Resource Centre with 5 Laptops in Support of their Programs

CALGARY, Alta — December 4, 2014 — The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), along with Calgary MLA Wayne Cao, will be presenting Sunrise Community Link Resource Centre (Sunrise) with a donation of five laptops this Friday.

“We are thrilled that Mr. Cao wanted to participate in this donation,” says Bojan Paduh, founder and president of the ERA. “It is great to see the community rally around a local charity like Sunrise.”

Sunrise is committed to collaborating with individuals and families in east Calgary to address vulnerabilities and facilitate personal development through resources and support while engaging them in contributing to the resilience of their communities.

“Sunrise plans to use the laptops for a future life skills program we are planning to implement in the new year,” says Shauna Parks, executive director of SCLRC. “The laptops will be used by participants enrolled in the program and will assist in meeting their learning goals.”

The ERA will deliver the laptops to Sunrise’s office at 3:30pm on Friday, December 5.
